Everyone goes through difficult times once in a while.
You may feel alone and isolated. These times can be difficult and even traumatic, but organizations like SPACE can offer you support.
We support people who are going through relationship difficulties, depression, bereavement, unemployment, mental health problems, loneliness, or any combination of these issues.
You are not alone! We can support you by providing:
• A safe place to unwind and think
• Someone who will listen to you without judgement and in confidence
• Information about other organizations
• A chance to meet with others
What can I expect from SPACE?
• A free and confidential listening service
• Weekly group drop‐ins on Tuesdays and Fridays, 10.30am to 12 noon
• A Sunday drop in from 2pm to 4pm
• What happens at a drop in?
• There are trained and friendly listeners who can give you time in a
quiet area, away from the group if this is what you want
• All of what you say is kept in confidence
• There is time to join with others, have a tea or coffee,
a chat and enjoy company
• There is no fixed charge, but we ask for a small donation if you are able
• We do not offer a counselling service
SPACE is open to all regardless of faith, age, sex, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or disability.
SPACE is a non‐profit making organization.
